Wasn't curating one monthly newsletter enough?

I thought so, too! But apparently, fate had other plans, you see!

ICYMI, I'm also the curator for my employer's monthly newsletter, The Rancher Roundup, which focuses on all things open source and tech within the company.

I'm starting this newsletter because I recently joined a graduate certificate course on tech and policy at The Takshashila Institution. With policymaking and discourse being public affairs, it made sense 🤌🏽 to learn in public this time, too!

What is the newsletter about?

Every Thursday, I will take one piece of news from the global tech policy landscape and dissect it based on what I have learned thus far. At the end of the newsletter, I'll also link some fundamental concepts I used while analysing the content.

Do I *need* to subscribe to read the newsletter?

No.

However, I hope you consider becoming a subscriber. With this newsletter, I intend to learn more about the global tech policy landscape and foster a safe space for discussion with other enthusiasts.

As a free subscribing member, you get the following perks:

  • Access to the discussions for each newsletter issue
  • Ability to suggest topics for future newsletter issues (explained in the next question)

Can readers suggest topics that they would like explored in the newsletter?

Sure! The only caveats are listed below:

  • You need to be a subscriber/member
  • Suggested news topics should be from the current or previous week
  • Author's discretion is applicable.

That's it 💫

Thank you for reading, and see you on Thursday!
